Welp we're -4.5 games behind the As. We have no pitching outside of our top 3. We play Tyler White regularly. We're in the middle of 14 games with no off day.

We only need Cole to go about 14 scoreless innings tonight. I feel like we can derp our way into 1 run in 14 innings. Maybe a bases loaded no outs double play?

If retaliations are in, cool. We're well aware.
Probably more of a pissed off manager than an indication the Astros are going to retaliate. He makes the point that our guy gets a suspension for a play that MLB acknowledges probably wasn't intentional, then the Angels throw at the head of that guy and don't even get an ejection.
Baseball justice is a weird game. We think you intentionally injured our guy which is wrong. So here's a fastball at your head.

It’s extremely dumb. And it goes on because baseball only kind of polices it which is what Hinch is referring to. It exists in this weird in between area. Either police it hard and put a stop to it (IMO what should happen) or don’t. But you know if Cole hits someone all hell will break loose and he will be hit with a heavy suspension and fine.

Such feigned outrage by everyone over this, including the Angels. I felt sorry for them over the Skaggs death but they seem like pussies.

The reality is, we can't afford to have Cole or one of our few good relievers do this right now. A suspension would be a problem until Ludlow fixes his mistakes with the staff. Maybe we revisit this down the line.
