I just got caught up on what I missed grabbing some food.
Fire the entire fricking training staff. Every single goddamn one of them. This shite cannot happen, much less repeated.
If his Achilles is torn, I do mean fire every single mother fricker on the training staff.

Lmao Bagwell announcing this weekend. I’m fairly certain we’re like 6-20 when he calls a game. The plus is at least you get to listen to his coked up mumbling how games are played on the field and not on computers and injuries are just part of the game

I was late tuning in
Gamecast acts like changes were made prior to a pitch being thrown
What happened? Can’t find a replay

I don’t think there is much of a chance that he was ok prior to game time and then actually got severely injured jogging to the field. I mean, possibly, but very highly doubtful.
He would have had to do full sprints though pregame, which I don’t think is possible to do with a blown out knee or ruptured ACL without some type of pain or impediment.
What the frick could this be?

He went down during warm up. It is known that a weak calf can lead to an Achilles tear. If those fricking buffoons just ruined the career of our center fielder and fricked this team over, they need to be called out by name publicly and fired.

Hey Grok.....does a calf strain elevate the risk of an Achilles tear?
So would it be wise to play a player on Wednesday if he was removed for a calf strain on Sunday?
quote:
Yes, a calf strain can increase the risk of an Achilles tendon tear if you return to activity too soon. The calf muscles (gastrocnemius and soleus) connect to the Achilles tendon, forming the Achilles-calf complex. A strain weakens this unit, reducing its ability to absorb and distribute forces during activities like running or jumping. Premature return to play—before the calf muscle has fully healed—can overload the Achilles tendon, increasing tear risk due to compensatory stress and impaired biomechanics.
So would it be wise to play a player on Wednesday if he was removed for a calf strain on Sunday?
quote:
Playing a baseball player with a calf strain from Sunday on Wednesday is generally not advisable, even if he feels better. Calf strains, depending on severity (Grade 1-3), typically require at least 1-6 weeks of recovery. A Grade 1 strain, the mildest, often needs 7-10 days of rest and rehab to regain strength and prevent further injury, like an Achilles tear, as the calf-Achilles complex remains vulnerable.

It was odd to me he looked to be putting some weight on it walking off
But I’m also at the point where I think our training stuff might be 4 dudes working at Pluckers in CF so perhaps it means nothing

Hey Grok, who is more incompetent - the Astros training staff or the owner who employs them with clear evidence of their incompetence?
Speak up, retarded downvoter pussy boy. You're obviously cowardly to match how hopelessly stupid you are.

Welp, that’s probably what it is then. That’s brutal. Fire and frick them all.

Ill be amazed if its not. Admittedly I don't know shite about these injuries. But what we have is that information that calf and Achilles muscles are directly linked and a calf strain causes an elevated risk of Achilles tear for over compensation. Jake got hurt nearly immediately. The only indication of pain he gave was lifting his leg and flexing at the heel. And then the took him to tunnel where guys get carted off for serious injuries, instead of the clubhouse.
Its speculation but that would all point to Achilles.

If Crane doesn't do something asap to address this, he should just sell the team. It's that bad.

Short, Hummel, Trammell, Melton, Rogers, and Garcia for Cedric Mullins
Mullins not ideal, but all that other alphabet isn’t either. LOL
And I really have no idea who we have to give up, but we now have no leverage and the market is slim
