Gordon is making me uncomfortable and I'd like for him to leave now.
This guy just gives up way too much contact. These aren't Coors effect hits he's giving up. Its just a ton of hits which is his MO.

On that play just now off the wall, the runner stepped on 2nd before turning around to head back to 1st thinking the ball was caught. Yet Altuve touched 2nd and they ruled him out on the force. But shouldn’t the force have been off once the runner touched 2nd?

Theyre not sending fly balls that are carrying into extra base hits. Theyre pepper him with ground balls finding holes and liners sitting down in front of the outfielders. There was maybe 3 balls that really carried on him tonight. Otherwise, its just Gordon giving up a ton of contact. He entered tonight allowing 10.6 H/9 and thats going to go up over 11 with his 9 hits in 4.2

Pitches move less, which impacts how easy is to barrel the ball up. Gordon is a perfectly fine 5th or 6th starter, pitching at Coors is fricking hard

After consulting with AI, the force is reinstated once he re-touches. Watched a lot of baseball in my time and I don’t know if I’ve seen that particular play. I’ve seen ones where the runner didn’t REACH 2B and get forced, but this instance was a first as far as I can remember.
