But if its Giles as the alternative Im on the Rondon train right now. Need to ride it up to the deadline and see where we are at. If we dont have to get in a huge bidding war for Herrara it would be nice.

I know the talking heads are split in the pick but I like him for our system. Doesn’t seem like we have many guys in our system where power is their biggest tool. Obviously you ideally don’t want him to start out as a DH but even still we are in the AL we need a good DH. We saw the first month of the season how frustrating it is to have an unproductive DH so if that’s all he can be but he does it well-great!

Yea when we drafted him I said the same thing. If this guy had a defensive position he would have been a top 10 pick. His bat is really good from what I have read. His only downfall is position. I trust the Astros to figure that out and if he flat out can’t field we have the dh.
