They both made key changes to become good hitters. This is Jake's normal self, and I hope this is MVPena's .

The funny thing about Peña being as good as he is this year is because of his move to leadoff…..which wasn’t even Espada’s idea. It was Altuve’s idea

It's not that. He went to an open stance and made changes with his load setup. The guy has been relentless with his fitness and his work on hitting mechanics to get better.

They need to find a number and extend Pena. This is the type of guy you bet on staying in shape and adapting to stay good even if the salary makes you a little uncomfortable
