Astros select CF Matthew Barefoot from Campbell University in the 6th round. He was the 2018 Cape Cod League MVP, batted .392/.484/.585.

I'm sure they got a good look at him while in Buies Creek.

Yes great point. I'm sure Lee will rocket his way into MLB with great aplomb. He will piss on realmuto on the way to the top.

Will said pissing event be in effigy? In a spring training game while lee is in the minors? Or will one of Lees first big attention grabbing events be to get in the box vs the Phillies, piss on Realmuto and proceed to hit a bomb?

You answered your own question. The infallible lunhow never fails. I mean look at all of the viable MLB ready arms we have at our disposal at the moment.

Seems certain after last night that Frambaw will fill in as 5th starter.

Shame about Corbaw. He looked so good I his first start and stuff wise, he was a big upgrade from the other options. Remember the first few innings of the start against the Rangers he was painting the edges if the zone with his fastball...hasn't been able to do that since.

I’m curious to know how much luhnow and Hinch trust peacock and Miley for a playoff start at this point in the season. It doesn’t appear we’re going after keuchel. And promoting framber seems to confirm that. IMO, it also confirms we’re definitely looking to find another starter at the deadline.

Guduan....yuck
So who starts Saturday? Framber and James? We have 2 off days next week so that helps

This time Guduan will actually throw strikes and not walk people. I just know it!

I asked my UT buddy about their pitcher we picked in 7th round and if he thought he’d sign or return to school
“I bet he signs. He started the year strong and faded, much like our team. Rumor is they all hate the coach so probably not going back. He has a great curve, I bet that stood out for Stros.”

Real question is who is higher on the totem pole...Brady or Guduan?

Ludlow likely saw his dad weeping on the broadcast when older bro debuted and knew he could ink him under slot
