Certainly we owe this Jwho DAT start to the appearance of Mr. Skenes

I would be lying if I said I didn't have a slight flinch of optimism when our beleaguered pitching ran into some sputtering offenses, but I'm firmly where the organization will eventually find itself years later with no playoff appearances to show for it.

Two of the last three losses were due to Espada’s malpractice with Abreu. I think it was easier for some to forgive his ignorance when the roster seems outmatched but both of those losses were completely avoidable.

As much as I love Skenes, I would really like to see what would happen if Yed happened to get hold of one of Paul's max-velo pitches.

The Brewers and Pirates are just better teams all the way around

They will both be looking to acquire talent come trade deadline

The Astros should have sold and be selling, but they will probably depreciate all the way down to nothing, and this time, not by choice under the guidance of a genius

Add to it that Espada doesn't know when to yank a starting pitcher.

Yed was always going to be the one to avoid a shutout.

I never can find stats on getting runners home from 3rd with less than 2 outs, but I know the Astros suck at it

Have to be at the bottom of the league

Livvy would have at least gloved that ball.

Kalas keeps calling this a pitcher’s duel like he wants to see Arrighetti get lit up
