How long before one of our pitchers gets a body cavity search by blue because of hearsay?

That is pretty amazing but I'm more surprised by the Nolan Ryan part to be honest given that he is the all time strikeout king and pitched such a high volume of innings.

Article from the Ringer on Cole before last nights game

Title-"Gerrit Cole Was Always Supposed to Be the Best Pitcher in Baseball"

Cole got so lucky that he got away from Searage before free agency. Trying to use a one size fits all that moved bad to mediocre was screwing him over. they got so used to trying to turn ground chuck into a sirloin they had no idea what to do with a prime filet

Jake went 0-5 last night but only struck out once. So that's pretty impressive.

You obviously don’t watch the Astros much.

It's not what he meant. Ryno's habit of randomly putting a period after words completely changed the meaning of the post in this case. Ignore the period and read again.

Yeah but if we lose tonight there is pretty much no way to crawl back into the playoff picture
