Hindsight. If you're willing to take the first pitch in that spot, you need to be planning to take the second as well.

Lifetime .200 hitter w bases loaded and has a lifetime avg over .300

That's not the kind of numbers you would expect from a 3 hole hitter, and definitely not an anomaly with the number of ABs over the course of his career.
