They won 90 games last year with a -51 run differential. They were 33-19 in 1-run games last year and 11-28 in blowout games. That’s a lot of luck. When that happens, a team usually drops off the following year.
They added some guys so I thought they would be better than what they’ve shown so far, too. But regression is a bitch.

No doubt last season for them was a lot of luck. I thought like you that by adding Robbie Ray, Frazier, Winker, Suarez, and getting some prospects into the mix like Gilbert, Kirby, and Julio Rodriguez that they would be better than this.

I wouldn't hold your breath, unless they get beat up with injuries again the Angels should be competitive all season.
I do expect their pitching to regress, though. Guys like Lorenzen and Sandoval aren't going to keep it up.
