Lol!!
Well boys that's a 5 game win streak and we are 12 over .500. The angels lost so our lead is 5.5 Games
McCullers begins his rookie of the year campaign tomorrow night. Life is good!

Boys I could do this all season long.
Streak to 10 wins and then go .500 over the next 10 then streak again for 5!
Rinse. Repeat.

A's have been reeling, need to keep up the strong hitting against them

If the Tigers win tonight, the Houston Astros will have the best record in baseball through almost 40 games.

Per MLBTR:
Please God, let that happen.
quote:
Manny Navarro of the Miami Herald reports the Marlins are eyeing candidates with previous MLB managerial experience and names former Astros manager Bo Porter and Ron Roenicke, who was dismissed by the Brewers two weeks ago, as possibilities who fit the bill.
Please God, let that happen.

Meanwhile on the farm:
At Fresno Domingo Santana has quietly raised his average to .314 in the shadow of Singleton's streak. He was 1-2 today with 3 walks, and more importantly 0 Ks.
There was a Jio Mier sighting for Corpus, he had a HR and a double. He has played well recently and is up to .282. Maybe he could still be worth something as a trade throw in. Hader gave up 1 run in 4 innings.
Scribner, Minnis, and Cotton pitched a shutout for Lancaster which is always news in the Cal league. Danry Vasquez continued his turnaround by going 3-4 and is up to .295. AJ Reed had a hit and is quietly up to .269 after a slow start.
Quad Cities continued their domination of the Midwest League, they are now 29-8. Catcher Jacob Nottingham had 3 hits and appears to be this year's breakout prospect from low A, like Brett Phillips last year.
Overall the organization was 5-0 on the day.
