It’s amazing comparing this board to Reddit. People think we’re going to “tweak” our way into contention by trading Parades and Walker.

Espada just sat at the podium and said Burrows was 1-2 pitches away from a great start. Dawg. He gave up 7 runs. Get out of my fricking ball club

ETA: he also says he doesn’t sense any frustration in the clubhouse. Is this guy serious???
And now he says “we battled” after only scoring 3 runs today

This fricking guy man. I don't expect him to shite all over his team publicly but don't sit there and tell me game after game when were 16-27 or whatever and say oh we're a pitch away, we're close, were turning the corner. For once call it like it is... we're playing poorly and there needs to be a sense of urgency to turn this around or we're not going to reach the goals we've set. That easy. I'm worn out with the Sweet Joey Sunshine routine.

The Dana Brown "everything will be roses" bit is equally tiresome.

1/2 game ahead of the Angels in the battle for worst record in MLB. Teams should really be embarrassed when they lose to this team.

Reddit is a hopelessly stupid place, starting with their politics.

Of course that's a stupid way to think. Minor trades will not fix the pitching, which is the only reason this team was so good for so long. Now we have terrible pitching that can only hope to improve to mediocre if Brown and Hader come back strong.

It's time to gut the fish. Try to rebuild while remaining remotely watchable. They better get the right GM asap or it will look like the post-2005 WS Astros and take a decade to fix.

Dogshit lineup. I’m tired of these Altuve off days too. Don’t care how bad he’s been

Pena, Brown and some combo of Parades / Walker / Hader should bring in a nice enough haul that you aren’t desperate to trade Yordan or someone you maybe shouldn’t.

As has been said on here the last few games, absolute lack of urgency.

Hell, as bad as Altuve has been lately, he was responsible for both the tying and go ahead runs in the lone win against Seattle and did it with uncharacteristic excellent ABs.

When you’re 11 games under 500 what are they “saving” guys for?

Espada said we have plenty of time to figure this out yesterday. Give him some time!

Hope you aren’t including Paredes in that number.

Hell yes my dumbass gets proven wrong again.

What a freaking outing by Spencer. He’s such a stud

Of course the 9-hole hitter ends the bid. Couldn’t happen any other way

Should be a fireable offense that he wasn't.
