It was almost costly recently the one time Hinch didn't make sure to get the Springer-Reddick-Jake trio out there late to protect a lead. It's a no brainer for this team, and it saved Giles tonight.

I agree. Giles is not reliable.
IMO, he and Grgerson should be demoted to 7th inning stop gap with Harris/Devo behind him.

Swapped over to MLB Tonight and they were discussing how they think he's trying to throw too many sliders and it's backfiring on him

Need to get a big time closer so we can keep devo in the highest leverage and multiple innings role. Harris isn't a closer.
