Tate with a no hitter through 7. Still hitting 94-95 after 90 pitches and has good control of three plus pitches. Cool demeanor on the hill. Love this guy.

ETA: UCSB pulled him after 7 with a 5-0 lead (rarity...responsible coaches with a big time prospect). Tate threw 94 pitches (57 strikes), walked two, hit two and struck out six.

For the life of me, I can't see how this team keeps winning considering their inability to hit.

The anomaly here is they're 6th in the AL, 11th in MLB in hits, but 3rd to last in BA in AL 3rd to last in Runs in the AL

it seems to me that they are drawing a lot more walks than last year. They have a lot of base runners.

The pitching is the key. Despite last night, the bullpen has been stellar.
