Well, I found this girl via the Facebook group I’m in and there were tons of people that said they were happy with the product. I contacted her and she even friended me and we talked a bit about everything.

Not that its going to mean anything but Fisher has had a nice spring so far. He's sure to be part of a trade package this summer. He's pretty well buried in the OF depth chart.

No matter where he ends up, he can carry that game winning run with him to his grave and tell his kids and grandkids about it forever.

He has very little trade value. Maybe turns over a lottery ticket type guy in return.

I haven't been yet.

It's actually a decent ways away from a good friend in baseball's residence, but he has mentioned setting something up to tour the facility, etc.

I thought about doing prior to last season, but too many conflicts to swing it.

It's a bucket list thing that I would like to actually do annually once my kids are on their own. When I set it up the first time, I will let DATers know when, in case they would like to join us.

#Astros have made both one- and two-year offers to free-agent left-hander Dallas Keuchel, sources tell The Athletic. Offers not in range Keuchel is seeking. Desired terms not known.

Good luck. I don't really want him back. I know he'd give us 200 innings and probably a sub 4 ERA. But some of the signs from last year indicate hes no longer an elite pitcher. His groundball rate, though still among the highest in MLB, dropped off considerably. He was never a strikeout guy but he lost his ability to find timely strikeouts. And even with a very good infield defense behind him, he still gave up a ton of hits. Mehh.

Has anyone here done that this year? Is it open and free?
Where exactly is it?
What time do workouts typically start? End?

We’re driving down next week. We also went there for spring break last year.

You can typically get to the practice fields 2 hours before game time.

We’re kind of excited, we got Phillies and Yankees this year, so we should get to see some good players since it’s later in ST.

He led the league in hits allowed with 211. His style of pitching relies on the bottom corner of the strike zone too much and it seems umps aren't willing to give it to him. That in turn forces him serve up a hefty portion of meatballs. I'd like him back for a team friendly deal, but I don't see it happening. I mean if you still haven't found a job yet....

Anyone see the renderings of the Rangers’ new park?

Looks a bit like MMP

It’s basically if you took MMP and put it in Missouri City or Kingwood

I like the design of the new Rangers park. Similar to MMP without the retarded Crawford boxes and hill. In cf. Those shitty design elements boxed in the ability to make changes to the stadium. No way to eliminate the shitty LF dimensions. They finally removed the hill but no way to make it look like anything other than a remodel--see batting eye complaints by nearly every player who has hit there.
