Josh James quad injury. No longer a rotation possibility to start the season per hinch.

Well shite. And then there's this
quote:
A.J. Hinch on the fifth starter competition without Josh James: “The kids that everyone will immediately go to — Whitley, Martin, Bukauskas — those guys are not options to break out of camp. They’re not ready to jump into a rotation.” Candidates remain Peacock, Valdez, Rodgers

Better mean Aaron Rodgers.
Yeah, could we see a one-year Keuchel deal? If not, pass.

Or go get baseball's top pitching prospect. If he's ready for the majors in June, hes ready for the majors now.

But how many innings is he able to pitch over 6 months? We need reliable regular season filler so Whitley can be held back until midseason.

I haven’t see any quotes about Whitley being up in June, but if that’s the case with him, I think it’s pretty obvious what’s going on.....
Springer...
Correa....

Reed just struck out in the first on three pitches....all looking. Why is this guy still in our farm system? And why can’t we try him as a pitcher?

Devo got shelled in his spring debut. That's encouraging.
Single

3 run double
Groundout

I don’t think we will see 2016-early 2017 Devo again. Forget his name

You may think that sound you heard was the Nationals running the bases and scoring a lot of runs quickly... it wasn’t.
That sound you heard was Luhnow running to the nearest phone to call Boras.

Bob Chorizo isn't good.

Yordan looks ready as well

Yeah, that pitching news is not a very subtle way to say we are now talking to Keuchel through Boras

Now McHugh has a back strain. Lunhow had no plan.
