Yeah she is friggin' hot. And from Texas.
Watching some regular season games on YouTube here lately, and why don't the Astros stamp a logo on the back of their mound like the Angels, A's, Sox, and several MLB teams do? I think the H-Star would look badass on the mound. I think we have one of the best logos in all of baseball.

Luhnow says they are holding Whitley out of major league camp to conserve his arm for a potential help to the major league club later in the year.
Says there’s a good chance he still comes to ML camp to throw an inning here and there

The Houston #Astros have already sold about 19,000 season tickets coming off the World Series, their highest total in 12 years.

I know 3 people who had probably been to ~10 Astros games between 06-15 that bought full season ticket packages this year. One in the club level. Bandwagon yadda yadda, home games are about to really change IMO

It's great for the team and ability to sign key players. Need to Increase the TV money too. Winning also creates a better atmosphere in the stadium and players may be more drawn to sign with them or Resign with them.

ive never been out there but it looks awesome

Definitely. I have no idea but I imagine the TV deal right now is one of the worst out there because of the circumstances and bankruptcy. I think what Verlander and to a lesser extent Morton have put out there in interviews about working with the front office and improving because of them has really helped with perception. Winning championships helps with that too obviously

I went to 7 playoff games including all 3 ws games and it was like a college Football stadium. So Awesome.

I was really fortunate this year. Caught a spring training game in Orlando, then a handful of regular season games and then Game 2 against the Yanks and Game 5 in the World Series. It was a great year for me especially living in Lake Charles.

Mark Appel Note: Apparently he’s stepping away from Baseball indefinitely
Feel bad for the guy, just couldn’t cut it at the pro level

And now, Appel is leaving the game behind, he tells Bleacher Report, taking an "indefinite break" from professional baseball. Should he never return to baseball, he would become just the third No. 1 overall pick to never make the major leagues, along with Brien Taylor of the New York Yankees (1991) and Steve Chilcott of the New York Mets (1966).
