Keuchel just won his 2nd Gold Glove in a row. He could win a Cy Young Award next week.

Last year's batting champion became the first Astro to have 200 hits in multiple season and lead the AL in hits in back to back seasons. He also picked up his first Gold Glove this year.

Correa has a good shot to be named Rookie of the Year.

All home grown talents. I'll never forget all the shite the Astros took for their rebuild. Now here we are with some of those young guys from shitty teams being recognized among the best.

I'm wondering if the Hincher will get AL Manager of the year. Seems like Bannister will get it but Idk.

My problem with that is Bannister took over a team that far underachieved last year. Sure, they were expected to suck and didn't. But my God..they've got Fielder, Beltre, Choo. Shouldn't a team with 4 guys (lol Andrus) on $100 million contracts be expected to make the playoffs?

Yes. But don't forget the Rangers pitching staff was decimate early and the bullpen was horrible.

Bannister did a hell of a job getting that team on track.

Both deserve the honor. Will not be disappointed if Hinch doesn't get it. But I do believe he probably had the tougher job.

Ben Zobrist has lots of interest but Astros aren’t in, at least yet. He’s type of hitter you’d think they’d want, but he wants to be 2B

Someone tell zobrist to not be a hoe, come play outfield/firstbase and win 2 championships in a row. Houston is a great town.

Rosenthal tweets that the Reds are ready to rebuild. How about Joey Votto on an 8 year $192 million contract?

I wouldn't want to part with the pieces it would take to get him or absorb any of that contract but I can still DREAM about him in our lineup right?

The last time he played more than 100 games in a season and didn't have an OBP above .400 was 2008. and it was .368.

2009: .415
2010: .424
2011: .416
2012: .474
2013: .435
2015: .459

Looks like offseason Plan A is Alex Gordon. If Luhnow doesn't get him, maybe they just bring Rasmus back or try to trade for an OF who fits the contact-OBP profile?

Meanwhile, we all know he wants to trade for a stud closer. It's almost a lock at this point.

@pgammo: That's four people insisting this morning that Aroldys Chapman will be moved by the end of the weekend.

ED's article makes it sound like Sipp's camp is leaning elsewhere.
