Today is my birthday so the only thing that is needed is for the Astros to win tonight (and tomorrow too). Leggo.

Subtle "I'm still alive" brag...

Hopefully tonight is the beginning of a 2-day pleasure trip for all of us.

I will say I think the upside is higher with Luis. Urquidy is what he is, throws strikes and pitches to contact. Best case is probably a start similar to Game 2 for him and there is some potential to get shelled early. Luis if on can straight shut a team down for 4-5 innings.

I think tonight is the night when we find out if management has been "candy-assing" Garcia due to the amount of innings he has pitched. We may well find out tonight that human beings in excellent physical condition CAN INDEED pitch a baseball effectively on one less day of rest.

Or we may find out that they can't

You and my daughter. She watched with me on Friday. We lost. She went to the 2 grand slam game. We lost. She said she will not watch baseball till the series is over.

Especially young and strong humans. Scherzer's arm was whack. But he's old AF for a pitcher.

I got out my lucky 2017 game 5 underwear. Still haven't washed them.

I guess Alvarez in the 4-hole is ride or die.

Not impressed by Siri in center. Our center field is not small. I think I'd rather Chas defensively. I'd rather neither of them bat.

Jeff fricking Bannister?

Not a terrible list though. Noticeably alot more older guys considering the popularity of hiring young managers currently

Bochy would be awesome

I think we need to just promote "The Espada".

If we thought Dusty was too old school and butted heads with the front office...imagine Showalter

That’s definitely the list from when we hired Dusty. Unless Dusty has a change of heart on managing next year and decides to retire I think folks in here are gonna be disappointed about who is managing the Astros next year. I don’t love him but he’s done a pretty good job so far this October

I’d rather have List Eater than Jeff Banister

Unless we win the WS and Dusty decides to call it there, he's coming back next year. He's indicated he'd like to keep coaching and Crane mentioned him deserving the opportunity to return.
