Sure, he probably could’ve gotten you another inning. Maybe even keep them off the bases.
But why risk it? His pitch count is up, Phillies were flying high after the arse kicking they gave lance last night.
Bring in your bullpen, finish a no hitter, and that will play mindfrick games with the Phillies hitters. But if you even give them a small moral victory here, they finish the game feeling good.
