DAT 10/29: World Series Game 2 - Phillies (Wheeler) @ Astros (Frambaw) - 7:03 ct FOX

Let’s all take a moment and tip our caps to our fearless leader Jwho for an incredible run leading us to this point 
As for Game 1, not much to say that hasn’t already been said. Gut wrenching loss. An unforgivable letdown from JV
Gotta put it behind us. We know we can win in Philly. Need a masterful performance from tPeople’s Ace and need to get to Wheeler the same way we did Nola, which will not be easy

It’s possible to appreciate JV (he is a good pitcher) but acknowledge he repeatedly shits the bed in these type of games and has his entire career.
But he isn’t the only one to fault. Outside of Tucker the offense shite the bed, the lead off hitter and DH spots are automatic outs. They got their 5 runs quickly and didn’t score the rest of the game. Horrific at bats all around

You don’t seem to understand that 8 losses in WS games w a 6 ERA is not by chance
The Astros paid him 35M per for nothing for 6 years
They played for a WS w/o him last year

This, they need to drop him and Dusty’s old arse. There is no way Verlander should have kept pitching with how he was getting tagged. It’s like when the world series comes around they just crumble.
Also, is Mancini the worst pick up in Astros history?

If you would have told me the Phils were going to take way more patient, professional at bats and that JV was going to shite down his leg… I would have easily believed that.

Ain’t the end of the world, hopefully it’s flushed and we get a big time effort of Framber. Going to be a very tough task against Wheeler but this team has shown it can grind out tough pitching all post season.

If the Astros don't win it all, I'm fine with Crane and letting Click and Baker go. Our DH/bench options are Mancini, Diaz, Hensley, Vazquez and Dubon. And Vazquez won't get used as the DH because he's the backup catcher.
I don't know why you bury a reliever who has a regular-season ERA of barely over 1, and then bring in a starter to begin the 10th when that reliever is available. Then people wonder why Dusty Baker has never won a World Series. It's not bad luck. Incompetence is not a curse.
