Yep the trolling is whatever the internet is supposed to be fun but I like just talking ball and shooting the shite in this thread with the regular posters and even the other teams fans if they are wanting to have legit discussions about a series or what’s happening in the game

I mean, there was a rangers thread last night that had some good back and forth with Astros fans. I’m all about some good wit and smack talk.
Basically I’m like the Vince Vaughn character in Anchorman. I may hate Ron Burgundy (Astros and best anchor) but damn do I respect them.
I’ve said it before that this reminds me of Yankees/Red Sox in early 2000s. In order to truly break through the mental barrier, the Sox HAD to beat the Yankees. It could be no other way. Same here.
Playoff baseball is elite.

Great anchorman comp, I really find the composition of this Rangers team likable, much more than the 2010-2015 version of the team, so it’s harder to muster the pure disdain for players so have to resort to the posters here to get me fired up

They aren't DAT regulars. There are tons of posters that only come out during the postseason and act like they've been here all along. I'd rather they STFU as well in your threads. They don't come off looking any better than you do.

Right? I’m in the office with a baw that is a huge Astros fan. We have very laughable and civil baseball discussion. I’m on the www projecting my inner narcissistic egotism and it is to be taken with a grain of salt. This is a place to let loose, say things that would get funny looks in the office.
At the end of the day, I’m well aware of the run the Astronauts are on, pretty magical for the fans. I would be zero surprised to see them win it all again this year despite not firing on all cylinders.
I’m just ready to get a piece of that pie. I’m tired of visualizing Nelson Cruz dropping the ball against STL.

At least better than 50% chance we get Scherzer that's not ready. I truly believe this game can go either way. We have to get to Scherzer early. We need multiple runs and a decent lead by the 3rd inning.
Starting Pitching - Maybe advantage El Reptil (Ice in his veins), but it depends on which playoff Scherzer shows up.
Bullpen - Astros
Hitting - Rangers by a lot
Defense - Probably even
What kind of craziness will we see today? Starting pitchers relieving for an inning? Singleton battting again? (Please no!) Another bench clearing brawl? That wasn't even a surprise. We all knew it would happen.
I don't think for a second that Tucker doesn't care. I've never thought that about him. He just doesn't have the personality of some of the others. But there is certainly something wrong and he needs to come out of this funk.

Scherzer has been terrible in the postseason. 2-7 I believe over the last 2 seasons.
