I loved Chirinos. He had a very nice year in 19. Then Maldy took over for good

Pretty good matchup, Twins can run the ball out of the yard and draw walks but not a very good bat to ball team and a TON of swing and miss. Limit the walks and hopefully they can’t do much damage.

They have three solid options to take the ball in game 1 in Ryan, Maeda, and Ober. Going to have to play some good baseball to win the series

Not yet but Rangers-Orioles was announced for noon. We'll probably be late afternoon.

Rangers playoff game starting during the Texas Oklahoma game is a real treat for those fans

Honestly, I’d be surprised if that FB he took off his hand didn’t fracture a bone or two. Looked like a really solid hit. Injuries just have a way of seeking that dude out in a crowd.

Both he & Springer have that clutch gene..
great when they are your team..
not so good when they aren’t..

At least we aren’t playing the Royals.
then we would be really screwed

Heyman has an article out that there should be only 2 choices for the Mets job. Craig Counsell or Dusty Baker and Dusty might be the best choice.

I can think of no worse option to be a true partner to David Stearns baseball ops group than Dusty B. Baker

Mets win 19 total games next season with Dusty in control.

But think of how well rested most of the really good players would be!

Chirinos >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Moldy

And now that we're officially playing the Twins, I'm feeling good, but they most certainly won't be an easy out at all. They got some players.

Maybe, but I’m feeling pretty old myself these days. Saturday will be Baby Booth’s first postseason game.
