Alex Verdugo's face looks like a plastic tupperware that had spaghetti sauce in it for two weeks.

Your pitching has been making A LOT of mistakes to be fair.
It's not just the mistakes. It's some of the 2-strike takes, too. Most of the Astros' 2-strike pitches are not competitive. But, occasionally, you get swings and misses on non-competitive 2-strike misses. Not in this series, apparently.

Challenge him. Give up a hit. Idc. Don't fricking walk him.

It's going to take almost 90 minutes to get through the first three innings.

5 walks. Spits on a very good 2-2 slider. Unreal

I can't embrace this enough.

If this were a football game, Time of possession would be about 5 to 1

Uh oh, player driven hitter meetings?

Posted on 10/19/21 at 8:29 pm to Off McVoy
Player driven, they say. Seems like I’ve heard that before! Hmmm.

On another note that has nothing to do with nothing, why is the Red Sox infield mow pattern shaped like the Portland Trail Blazers logo? Looks that way from the aerial shot.

Might take Javier 100 pitches to get thru 3 innings

They don't chase anything out of the zone, they don't swing through anything in the zone. It's either a walk or they hang around and square up something in the zone

Have the Red Sox swung at a single breaking ball?
Posted on 10/19/21 at 8:30 pm to LSUBoo
Can we throw a fricking curveball for a strike?
Posted on 10/19/21 at 8:31 pm to Lsuhoohoo
lmao that pitch was a gift

Maldy’s gotta make the attempt. Gosh he’s really killing this team
Thankful for the call there

Strike 3 was way off. Oh nevermind it’s Diaz behind the plate
Did Cora just get run?

The rare double arse-chewing on a single play
Posted on 10/19/21 at 8:32 pm to Domeskeller
Yeah the Red Sox have been very disciplined but so much so that it raises a serious question. They have also sat on and crushed several good breaking pitches. And they are playing out of their mind relative to their regular season performance.
