Can't believe the turnaround. Team is fired up, gotta beat an old friend tonight. Let's go.

Hopefully LMJ comes out strong tonight but who is available after him?

Urquidy on short rest could give us 2-3?
Parades has struggled
Javier 3IP in last 3 days
Pressley pitched the last 3 days

Would be nice to save Greinke for game 1 but all hands on deck

I’m really curious if today’s pitching plan is scripted. Lance gets them two times through and if/when there is trouble have Taylor come in and clean up the inning and start Urquidy with a fresh frame.

It’s worked in the past and maybe it’s what you need to do with a guy like Lance, and that’s tough for me to stay as the number 1 LMJ fan in this thread

Javier should be a full go, I’d think he can get 1 or more if needed. Paredes is rested and I still trust him, same with Raley. I think we really are in a great spot all things considered

Urquidy could be a defacto closer today for an inning? Today would be his bullpen day right?

Where’s the party at in the Kingwood area?!?!

Whoever runs one of the restaurants needs something in their parking lot for a party or town center/kings harbor need something. Hell kings harbor which is that area by sharky’s just had an outdoor movie thing with one of those big inflatable screens. They need to do it but it’s Kingwood so the olds probably would get upset.

I’d guess if they use Urquidy it’s for multiple innings to bridge to the closer unless he’s rolling then you let him finish it.

Urquidy didn’t throw that many pitches last game if I recall. I gotta think that they will use him in medium relief if we are close. We gotta put up a lot of runs to win in my opinion. Our relief pitching has played above their heads most of the series (paredes in game 3 being the major exception) and its hard to think that will continue. Chuck got out of a lot of traffic last game due to good pitching, bad hitting, And lots of good luck. It will be interesting to see how he attacks us tonight to keep the traffic down.

It’s going to be interesting what they do with Glasnow. He’s their “franchise” guy are they going to let him go an extended outing on two days rest for the second time this postseason?

I look at decisions like an Indiana Jones movie. The guy comes to a rope ladder, and he's being chased. There's uncertainty on the other side, but he knows when he gets to the other side, he's going to take his machete and cut the rope ladder behind him. He has no retreat.

Not the time for worries! This is not how our guys are thinking now. LMJ goes 5 2/3. Paredes will be good tonight. Blake Taylor. Thankful for no James!

The Rats look like a team that is tired and beat! We have this!

LFG!
