Even good Verlander gives up a home run. He's not getting any whiffs or chases. They're laying off breaking balls and fouling his fastball. It's only a matter of time until they're crushing him.

John Smoltz damn well KNOWS better than the absolute nonsense coming out of his mouth.
him sitting here on national television giving all of this credit to Dusty Baker absolutely proves that there is a bigger agenda being pushed by MLB and the Networks.
Smoltz was a stud pitcher and Hall of Famer... there isn't a single chance in hell that he truly believes that Dusty Baker deserves the credit.... he's being paid to straight up lie on national television
any baseball fan (with a brain) who watched the Astros this season knows the truth. the Astros won in spite of Dusty Baker.... they won 90 games with him, and they would have won 100 games without him. Fact.
