I once saw LaRussa running shirtless like Coach O near Petco Park when the Cardinals were in town. I started to yell frick the Cardinals but didn't. Looking back, I should have.

Semien was 3rd in MVP voting two years ago (I think) and will be top 5 this year. He's not going to get the number of years as the younger guys but he'll get the $30m plus per year.

Friday has been announced as a 7:08 first pitch. NLCS starts on Saturday in SF or LA so we'll without a doubt be the 3:10 game. We're the only game on Monday so that's a night game. Both leagues play on Tuesday/Wednesday with the NL in Atlanta. Most likely the series both get a day and night game between Tuesday and Wednesday.
