I guess he didn’t have to but I wouldn’t be surprised if they told the team just suck it up and don’t bring the media shitstorm that would come out of all of it

While I’d 100% go no matter how much I hated the President...it doesn’t bother me that some decided not to, just hope the media frenzy isn’t too bad. I’m glad those that didn’t go weren’t very vocal about it and hope it stays that way. Although they will of course be asked about it next time they meet with reporters
If they become attention whores about it then yeah that’d bother me
