And, no, I don't mean that figuratively.

The first thing I thought when I read that headline was, good lord, that's something so ridiculously effeminate that the women's national team might try it.

Dansby Swanson burned sage throughout the bowels of Truist Park before the game, hoping the herb would spark the team.
quote:
Swanson said it wasn't his first time burning sage, noting that he and his girlfriend, U.S. women's national soccer team forward Mallory Pugh, have done so when moving into a new house, or at times when "you feel like you need to cleanse the air a little bit."

If he can start hitting idc how much sage he burns

I'd say he's more than just a little stitious

If he has any left over, maybe he can burn some near the Dodgers bullpen

The sage was burned Monday after the back to back shutout double headers. Since then we’ve won 3 games with a combined score of 23-7

It’s seems fitting with him being on a team named after Native Americans.

Well dang, if the amazing power of feminine rituals in the locker room had only been known oh these last 25 years, maybe the Braves could have effeminately burned enough sage to have won another World Series since 1995.

Sage burning (or some combination of herbs) has existed in practically every culture in the history of human civilization. Not sure why you equate it with femininity.
