The lighter green is very reminiscent of the North Stars, which could be cool. However, the North Stars always paired the green with a lighter yellow/gold color and not silver. These jerseys just have a very AHL/junior hockey feel to me.

What is irritating me is that they went on and on about the tradition of the Stars. Traditionally, the Stars have used gold. They have never used silver. As a lifelong Stars fan, these jerseys are incredibly disappointing.

Feel the exact same way, very disappointing they went with that logo. I do like the green they went with though.

Meh. This is the one I liked best. Star was integrated into the jersey. But just like ol no. 25, both are gone.

Stars traded for the rights to 39 year old defenseman Sergei Gonchar today.

New front office = same front office?

Wtf do they want with a washed up 39 year old offensive defenseman that damn near gave the Penguins the series he was so bad?

The Stars have a ton of good rookie defensemen ready to come up next year in Morrow, Oleksiak, and Connauton. Gonchar is probably being brought in to mentor them. Plus he had 27 points last year, same as Goligoski. And its only a 6th round pick plus whatever Gonchars contract is.

More than likely, Daly or Robidas will be traded on draft day to move into the top 7 or so.
