I am pretty skeptical of it but it is 100% the type of thing Crane would shove down the front office’s throat. Minnesota ownership has been trying to sell for like a year and would provably love that deal off the books, I’m sure they would kick in some money.

Yes…it has 2023 Verlander vibes written all over it.
So much of what they do depends on the true status of the injured players and with our medical staff, who knows what is actually true. I personally think Yed, Jake and Esock are done for the year.
