Why is college baseball so much less popular than CFB and CBB? I think this fact is lost on LSU fans but it’s very true.

It's very regional. For northern teams it's hard to field a great team because of the bad winter conditions. None of those fan bases really support baseball. College baseball was also a pretty dead sport until very recently. Even in the SEC some major programs like Bama, Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee fans didn't give a crap about college baseball.

It’s very popular in Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas
It’s a niche sport everywhere else

I find it interesting that even the good west coast teams don’t seem to have many fans at their stadiums regularly.
Maybe it flourishes in the SEC since most of these towns don’t have pro baseball nearby?

Its a slower played game than mlb, lots less talent and skill, no known star players, probably closer to single A minor leagues.
Im not much on the Nba either but the playoff and now the finals have been intriguing and played at a very high level.
Also have a 2 tv setup so tonight will have both the usa soccer and baseball

I'd add Texas to that list but thats it. Its probably behind college hockey in some parts and WBB in others

Texas isn’t close attendance wise though. The stadiums are a lot smaller than the ones I listed and these 3 states always show out in Omaha
Texas can prove me wrong this week, Omaha wise
