What exactly is the penalty for being an a-hole?

10 pages of “he was an a-hole” and 1 line that says “The first time I was physically mistreated by my spouse, I was in shock”. Nothing else about him hitting her.

That is literally the only thing in that whole long arse story about physical abuse

She is in a tough spot. If she cooperates with the MLB or police investigation, the person most able to provide financial support for her son could lose the means with which he provides that support.

Thus, getting any justice for the alleged physical abuse he caused would cause additional damage to her and her son.

So her plan is to hurt him and free herself...but only a little? Lol

Either way, you gotta give me more than that “he’s an a-hole” shite to drop the hammer on him if I’m manfred

A Cubs player beat his wife too, so how dare anyone criticize my team and the abuser it traded for?

Is that really where you want to go?

I don't understand what you are saying here or why it is laugh out loud funny.

I think that's the point I was making. She has no interest in manfred dropping the hammer on him because it cuts off the means by which her son is likely supported. Thus, she likely isn't going to detail the alleged abuse or cooperate with any investigation.

Can someone please explain what in the actual frick this means?

A person who identifies with the gender he or she was born with. So the opposite of a transgender.

Fine article until the last paragraph. Why do you need to refer to women as cisgender or trans?

And what did that last paragraph have to do with the situation anyway? Is the ex "cisgender"? Why not include victims within homosexual relationships also? I'm sure that happens just as well.

Why, because you say so? He and the Astros have been vilified by a ton of fans over he said, she said. Innocent until proven guilty does not exist in the court of public opinion and hasn’t for a long time.

Is this something we really need a special word for?

I thought MLB did an investigation and found evidence sufficient to support a 75 game ban.

No. But since the effort is to normalize all these weirdos, they have to replace the word "normal" with something else.

It's more word games and changing definitions to fit their agendas.

It’s just the opposite of transgender. Blame Latin, I guess?

Latin prefix “trans” means “on the other side of”. Prefix “cis” means “on this side of”.

It's also a word that's been around since the 90's.

I appreciate the knowledge, but I think you took me a little to literally. My point was that "transgender" is bullshite and shouldn't even be a "thing", thereby rendering cisgender "not a thing".

I don’t follow. Is it just because you don’t like transsexual individuals? I don’t see why that would prevent us from needing a word to describe them.

Under the policy, Manfred can issue suspensions or other punishments upon a finding that a player has committed a domestic assault or otherwise violated the terms of the policy, regardless of whether charges are brought or a conviction is secured. Punishment is subject to a “just cause” standard, though that will not be tested since Osuna has agreed to forego any appeal.

Much like Goodell, judge and jury.

I'm guessing it started from some organic chemistry nomenclature based on some Latin.

Like or hate doesn't have anything to do with it....I am of the old school where if you have a penis you are a boy and if you have a vagina you are a girl....the way it used to be back in the day.
