He and Tucker have quickly worn out their hype from FA last off season.

Perhaps it's because I only watch baseball in the playoffs. But what the hell, I didn't know the MLB had high scoring games like this. Id expect that for a random high school game, not the majors.

How was a 23-3 game completed in 2:37?

Maybe every offense does this and I just watch the Cubs - but every year since 2017 for sure, the Cubs have a lengthy stretch where everyone on their offense quits hitting at the same time. This year it lasted 5 weeks.

Now you have a guy like Swanson who was LITERALLY the worst hitter in baseball two weeks back turn into steroid era Barry Bonds the last 10 games.

PCA has now proven to me he's a legit star. And there are other solid veteran bats that always end up with good numbers at the end of the year - the offense is solid.

The pitching is in absolute shambles. More than half the guys they started the year with are injured. Not sure how much they can keep winning with the pitching they have now - Swanson can't keep this up.

But I'll ride the wave as long as I can!!

Good thing they didn't score 5 more runs.
