The fit makes no sense whatsoever, however:
1) It effectively kills the Clippers, and with the Jazz likely taking a pounding in FA too, the top of the West just gets stronger and 4-6 seeds are now much more open.
2) If you can get a player of CP3's caliber then you do it, and worry about fit later. STill think it makes no sense but they didn't really give up all that much and they have a great player, albeit an oft-injured one nearing the last 3ish years of his effectivness.

What successful team in the NBA has one ball dominant player? You need multiple guys. Lebron has Kyrie. KD and Steph. One guy running the show doesn't cut it. Harden put up great stats but obviously needs help. Paul is a great complement. Love the fit and Mike D is the best guy to make it work. The more attacking guards you have, the better.
