Did you see the shite he had to fight through?

Sixers, Bird...then Bad Boys.

Don't tell me LeBron had to fight through half that shite.

Oh wait, he didn't, he just moved to Miami.

No, just the Spurs dynasty, and a 73 win team. that added the 2nd or 3rd best player in the NBA the year after winning 73.

That's nothing compared to the sixers and pistons!!!!

so... he didn't win. got it.

also, the warriors are better than all of those teams. the 08-10 celtics were pretty legit too.

So you're saying that it's been easier for LeBron to get to the finals?

He only had to beat the Larry Brown Pistons, the Duncan/Pop Spurs, and the Pierce/Garnett Celtics. And he had a worse roster than anything Jordan had since high school.

Pro tip: Those Popovich Spurs were better than anyone Jordan ever had to beat to win a title except for Bird's Celtics.

Pro tip #2: Jordan didn't beat Bird's Celtics.

ETA: And that's just before he left for Miami. The 73 win Warriors were infinitely better than anyone Jordan saw in the playoffs.

What are you talking about?

Try to keep up, the argument was never about getting to the Finals, why are you asking me that random question?

Makes no sense. Jordan played in a entirely different league more half court big man oriented

Dude lost to the Spurs Dynasty 7 years past their prime.

With his super team in Miami.

Jordan was “done” after his 10th scoring title, 6th NBA title and 2nd 3-peat

LeBron is judged differently than literally any other athlete in this regard. For whatever reason, people knock him for the Cavs playoff losses in his first stint with them. If you took LeBron off and put prime MJ on those teams, they would have had the same results except they would have lost to the Pistons in 2007. Suck on that, nostalgia crew.

TBH IDC how legendary, can't miss, talented, heralded a prospect you are in whatever team sport you play in, still takes a team with ancillary pieces to win a championship. John Elway, Bert Jones, Archie Manning, Herschel Walker, LeBron, Shaq, Wilt, Michael Jordan absolute legends of sports in general but in sports like football and basketball still need a capable no. 2 guy or you ain't beating a great overall team for a world championship or gain wins for that matter these sports are based on game theory, application and preparation and if one relies on one component too much in a match against a well-oiled, synergy-based machine, can assure you that machine will prevail most of the time

So? Tim Duncan was 37, Manu was 35 and they were 7 years removed from their last championships.

Acting like this was a Spurs Dynasty teams is a bit of a stretch. Also Kawhi was like 22 and not close to his prime.

Kawhi wasn't Kawhi yet. He didn't even really show up as the primary offensive threat until game 3.

They were a year removed from almost winning the championship against that same Heat team that some might consider one of the greatest of all-time, Spurs were ALWAYS relevant in the title chase during that time period

Nope. You are wrong. Jordan had something LeBron never has had. A midrange jumper that made the offense better all around.

but rings is the dumbest argument comparing players

It really is

Jordan is the goat over LeBron because he has more rings, yet that argument is nowhere to be found when comparing Jordan to Russel. All of a sudden a plethora of other arguments are suddenly valid other than rings when that debate comes up.

People are going to let nostalgia make their decision for them. If aliens came here from another planet, by the way people talk, they'd think Jordan never lost a game and average a qunituple double for his career, all while curing cancer, ending world hunger and beating up Chuck Norris.

LeBron is one of the greats, if not the greatest. I'm not sure why people think that's unreasonable.
