No but ever since the shite that went down before the sugar bowl, I always assumed something else was going to be coming.

no reasoning, any and every school in the top 25 could be investigated for anything and something would be found.

it'll be pretty fricked up if tennessee gets hit because of kiffin. that being said, I hope its USC
wouldn't be at all surprised if its us though...recruiting over our self imposed cap is pretty stupid.

I think it will be about the now disbanded Texas Angels, and what they meant to Texas recruiting.

Of course, leave it to MSB tards to listen to that arse clown.
He's a fricking clown and doesn't know what he's talking about.

Well there's starting to be rumblings that it's Oregon now. Apparently it's not an NCAA investigation, but rather Sports Illustrated is going to publish something possibly tomorrow about it. So I would assume this would be similar to the USC and Yahoo deal.
Here's a link to a blog post about it on OregonLive.com LINK
This is from the comments section of that article:

I was contacted by several national college football writers after those early rumors began to point at the University of Oregon being that program.
Made some calls. A reliable source high in the athletic department said everyone there was "surprised" to hear about the rumors. They have not been contacted by the NCAA on this matter, nor anyone else.

It's a Sports Illustrated investigation, not an NCAA investigation. When the story comes out tomorrow (as originally scheduled), the NCAA will have to examine the evidence and reach their own conclusion of what rules were broken. Actual sanctions could take 6 months-2 years to be handed down.
So of course they haven't "heard a peep" about NCAA violations.
From what I can gather, the investigation revolves around the recruitment of Lache Seastrunk, Tahj Boyd, and Anthony Wallace. All three had the same "family adviser" (agent) named Baron Cortez Flenory Jr.
Google Mr. Flenory's name, and you'll get a preview of what's going to be in the SI article.

Don't know about boyd but lache was on the scout team as a redshirt. Wallace just signed his LOI recently.
Eta...boyd didn't sign with the ducks

I hate to say it, but tdawg is right. It's Oregon and it will focus on their relationship with this particular "street agent."
What is not yet known is if the article will accuse Oregon of any wrong doing. It could just be about the basketball-ization of football recruiting. This may be new to football but this has been going on in basketball for over a decade. Guys like Sonny Vaccaro, World Wide Wes, and the Pump Brothers have made careers of this. You don't sign a top 50 recruit in basketball without going through someone like this.

They will just say "I had no idea" like you know who.
Eta.....if it's true these guys work for those boys wouldn't it be a safe assumption all of their top choice schools knew about them?

If they aren't going to do anything about cam newton then they sure as frick can't do anything to oregon. not NEARLY as bad as what went down on the plains...from what it sounds like anyway.
