There was talk about Texas a month or so ago, with girls and recruits etc.

This is what I alluded to earlier when I said Texas if it's a Big 12 team or Tennessee if it's a non-Auburn SEC team.

IIRC, one of the assistant coaches at Texas was using a female student booster group to convince them to sign with the school via sex.

If Texas is put on probation, Kid Charlemagne will be a very happy man.

When was the last time Cowherd actually had real inside info that wasn't mostly a ratings ploy?

he nailed the USC penalty about a week before it was actually made official...thats about the only thing that comes to mind.

he probably doesn't know too much himself. he probably knows exactly what he said...someones getting a letter and its not auburn. if he knew more, he would definitely run his fricking mouth...he enjoys talking shite about schools he dislikes too much to stay quiet.

More and more I'm coming to believe he's talking about Notre Dame.

Isn't it a top 12 school? ND would not qualify

You don't get the sleaze ball vibe from Brian Kelly?

I guess....tbh I don't pay attention to everyone or everything. Get my news here. Would be funny if their going down considering he's been there one year. FTR....ND is on my list so it would be fine with me.

I posted this earlier in the SEC Rant thread:

Actually, Notre Dame is a good possibility.

Scroll down.

There have been some really shady recruiting "decisions" that occurred with some big time talent and ND this recruiting cycle.

The situation that I as a Georgia Tech fan saw was a big time recruit (Stephon Tuitt) saying openly that he loved GT and was 100% committed to come here and then his mother refusing to sign a LOI to anywhere but ND.

The mother basically made the decision for him. The same thing happened to FSU with Aaron Lynch. The kid wanted to go to FSU, but the mother forced the kid to go to ND. Strange.

If having a student cameraman die under his watch didn't get him in trouble with the NCAA, I'd hate to see what it would take.

You don't think that maybe it has to do with ND's superior academics?

Who knows at this point?

I think the leading prospects have to be:

1. Notre Dame
2. Texas
3. Ohio State

Based off the quote "USC is familiar with them"

Not surprising...He's always been a good recruiter. He had a lot of talent (for that part of the country) at Cincinnati...probably too much for it to be gotten by the book.

I dunno if the NCAA will ever do anything to hurt ND though...

Was told tonight its Oregon, and It will be major when It comes out, if what I was told is accurate.

Supposedly several street agents in Texas, and other states, and a LB they signed this year will be at the front and center

Wow. I'm imagining a situation where both teams in the BCS title game would have their games vacated.

I guess that would make TCU the 2010 BCS champs by default.
