No i don't. It's not their choice at all. If the Nets want to play in Jersey (which there is no indication they do) and if the NBA was fine with it (which who knows since the Nets havent even asked) then no i don't think whining from potential opponents would matter at all.

The Nets would have trouble getting out of their commitment from their current stadium but I don’t think the NBA would or could stop them.

Plus the NBA Commissioner has already publicly questioned the policy. This same policy is about to affect the Mets and Yankees as well. Someone is going to flinch. I don’t think it will be Kyrie bc he already has generational wealth and he hasn’t yet budged in fact they have caved to him somewhat already (remember at first Nets didn’t want him playing at all).
