Corbin Burnes
Zac Gallen
Merrill Kelly
Eduardo Rodriguez
Brandon Pfaadt
Burnes is arguably the best pitcher in baseball. The other 4 pitchers are also strong and viable starters who have the potential to be great.

Those could all be fake names as far as I'm concerned

Will always be the standard. I also liked the As rotation of Zito, Mulder and Hudson

Astros with Verlander and Garrett Coles was pretty good

HM
86 Mets
Doc, Sid Fernandez, Aguilera, Ron Darling, and Ojeda.
Another HM is that Dodger team that had Drysdale, Koufax, Don Sutton.

From the "What Could Have Been" files, I present the 2014 Detroit Tigers:
Justin Verlander
David Price
Max Scherzer
Anibal Sanchez
Rick Porcello
4 out of 5 with a Cy Young, and all 5 have a ring.

2011 Phillies had Roy Halladay (finished #2 for Cy Young), Cliff Lee (finished #3 for Cy Young), Cole Hamels (finished #5 for Cy Young), Roy Oswalt, and Vance Worley who went 11-3 with a 3.01 ERA (3.3 WAR) as their fifth starter.

I have felt a significant decline in my interest in sports lately, but it’s crazy to me that none of those names even sound familiar with the exception of Corbin.

I didn’t know your brain retained information after 2007

So you think one very good pitcher and 4 "viable starters" makes possibly the greatest rotation in the history of a 120+ year old league?

Kelly, Rodriguez and Pfaadt are not special in any way at this point in their respective careers. You have a very good 1-2, be happy for that, but even Gallen has faded a bit over the past 2 years.

And still just one world series. Cox was an awful manager.
