A hard fought victory today against the Falcons while Baker Mayfield goes 0-3 passing for no yards.

Bucs sit at a respectable 3-5 with two division wins at the half way point lead the hard fought NFC South division

Baker getting back from injury and throwing for 32 yards per game since returning has been the key.

Its true. Even though Tampa holds the victory over them at this point. They just played one less game

Let’s not gloss over the most amazing stat.

No other pass was thrown by Tampa.

The last time this happened was 1950. If you are reading this and are under the age of 76, you have never experienced this in your lifetime.

Only 6 times in NFL history has a team not completed a single pass.

It was almost like they were determined NOT to pass it once the 3rd quarter was over.

Hell, it could/should have been 23-0 if Bucky didnt give them a freebie crossing the goal line. The 3rd pass was a screen that hit Gainwell in the hands and he dropped it.

It was just meant to be

NFC South and East could have division winners under .500

At this point in the season, I would almost guarantee that the South winner will be.

Bucs are 3-5. They have 9 games left to play. In order to be higher than .500, they need to win 6 of those 9. No way that is going to happen

Still have

Rams
Bears
Ravens
Lions
Chargers
2 against Saints
Falcons
Carolina

They may win 4 of those, Possibly 5 if they play over their head

Carolina has

Broncos
Vikings
Ravens
Steelers
Bengals
Plus the other south Losers.

Saints have probably the easiest remaining schedule but they need to win 7.

frick the Falcons

The Brooklyn Dodgers won ONE World Series since 1950 but THIS has never happened since then until TODAY.

I have witnessed Sports History.

I am humbled and honored.

Congrats to the kings of shite mountain.

Crazy to think as bad as the Saints have played, they can also still win the division. I don't think they will, but goes to show just how terrible the division is.

Hell, they are as safe a bet as the other 3..

I honestly think the division winner will be 7-10.
