Lebron passes Kobe for third all-time on the scoring list; his career ppg is 27.1, good for fourth all-time. At this rate, Lebron will pass up Kareem at the end of 21-22 or early 22-23. He might be #1 in scoring and #2 in assists. GOAT? I know Jordan didn't play as long, but you cannot deny Lebron's greatness. He might get another triple double tonight. Whether I agree with him politically has nothing to do with his greatness on the court. He is the best player of all-time (best does not always mean greatest; take Tom Brady for example), the most talented player to ever play the game.

The only player that can be on the all-time offensive and defensive team. How’s is he not the best?

How many were transition points, dunks or bulldozing your way to the basket?

Kobe could actually shoot.

Best NBA body, sure.

Best NBA player re: skills, nah.

Kobe career 32.9% 3pt shooter on 4.1 attempts per game

Lebron career 34.4% 3pt shooter on 4.4 attempts per game

Lebron will pass up Kareem
would be ironic for LBJ to have the scoring record bc he’s not a pure scorer like Kareem, Kobe, or Karl. He’s just super efficient and has had great longevity. Dudes gunna own most career marks at this rate...

Kobe started his career in the handchecking era and was forced to take more outside shots than he should have early in his career because Shaq was down low. When you factor that in, it’s really not close.

Plus Lebron pushes off on half of his drives anyways.

Kobe never met a shot he wouldn't take. He was never forced.

Do you really believe Phil Jackson would allow Kobe to get post up opportunities over Shaq?

He wasn't Dwayne Wade bad from 3, but he wasn't particularly great at it.
