You and I both know that all that was a response to the over saturation of "Coach Prime" by the media and all of CU's new casual fans when he really had not accomplished anything. And no, that would not have happened, because most of you have no idea who Dillingham is, where he coaches, or how bad they were before he got there.

Big 12 is so weak right now. But that’s not his fault. Props to Prime for exceeding expectations.

He's accomplished the same amount as Kiffen has, but people on this board love them some Kiffen and his antics.

Well, maybe not Ole Miss fans now...

You are being disingenious, or you are just dim. Kiffin has been one of the most bashed coaches on this board for a longer time than Neon has even coached.

The year is 2034: "Did you all know Colorado won ONE game 12 years ago?!?!?"

And their schedule during that season was significantly tougher than this years. Comparing apples to oranges.

Manny Diaz finished 9-3 at Duke. Should we print tee shirts and get him rings also?

Dude Lane Kiffin has been shite on since his Tennessee, Raider, and USC days. We all laughed and enjoyed him being left on the tarmac. You have been around for a while. Stop playing dumb. MAYBE, just MAYBE, some people have watched him pay all those dues, even working as an assistant (something "Prime" never did) since then and have had a little change of heart.

This is a pretty awful take. I don't love or hate Deion, but he took over a trainwreck of a football program that had losing season 16 out of 17 years before he was hired and was at a historical low-point. They had 1 win in 2022, the year before he took the job. They don't have much NIL money or top-tier facilities as compared to the elite programs. This is the second time in 25 years that they've reached 9 wins, maybe 10 with a bowl win.

Love him, hate him, bad conference, good conference, whatever. He did something that Colorado hasn't been able to in the last 25 years other than one time. He did a good job.

Apparently, you aren't allowed to bring that up.

We must celebrate him for making a bad team with a hard schedule into an ok team with an easy schedule.

If Diaz got the press that Deion does, they'd be calling for it. That said, Duke has 86 wins and 8 winning seasons since 2010, Colorado has 66 wins and 1 winning season.

Colorado has been an abysmal program for a long time. Duke has been a much, much better program with higher expectations.

Did Duke go 1-11 two years ago?
