It’s not bad, but I don’t think Indiana has an iconic enough shape to incorporate its silhouette into a logo.

My first reaction was “why is that C all jagged.. oh wait, that must be Indiana.”

I can’t speak for everyone here, but I saw Indiana immediately. How can you determine whether a state’s shape is iconic? I mean, it’s no Wyoming or Colorado.

I like the new wordmark because the old one never fit the endzone correctly

This may be unpopular. But I miss the blue facemask.

I mean, those thoughts went across my mind in less than a second. It’s not like I was sitting here trying to figure it out.

I know Indiana when I see it, but before I saw this thread if you told me to draw Indiana off the top of my head, I couldn’t do it.

I know if it’s general shape... kind of rectangular, sandwiched between Illinois and Ohio.

But it’s not iconic enough for me to know exactly how it’s shaped off the top of my head. Texas, Louisiana, Florida, California.. easy. But Indiana? Again, I know if it’s general shape, but I wouldn’t have been able to draw it out just right off the top of my head.

The logo looks like it was drawn in Microsoft Paint and the numbers look like they were hand cut from memory

I don't like helmets like the one in the pic.....it slices up the logo.

Louisiana, Florida, Texas, etc all have iconic shapes that work. Indiana, not so much.
Not if you're from Indiana or did relatively well in fifth grade geography

I really like the number style change and vintage horse logo.

Subtle changes but good ones

New wordmark looks worse. Secondary logo looks good. Which is saying something since I usually resent anything with boring letters. But the road jerseys would still look better if worn with blue pants. White jerseys paired with blue pants would be a sharp look.

I think the colts overall design is hideous in general so this really doesn’t do anything for me

Of all the uniforms/jerseys takes this board has seen, this is lowkey the worst one.

Colts have one of the cleanest, purest looks in all of sports.

I’m great at geography. I know where every state is, including Indiana. I know its general shape.

But if you told me to draw Indiana, off the top of my head I would not have remembered that the bottom of the state comes to a leftward point:

But if you showed me that picture, I know it’s Indiana. My point is that it’s not a distinctly obvious shape like Texas, Florida, or Louisiana. It doesn’t make a good silhouette for a logo.

I think it's pretty obvious in the new logo. My immediate reaction was that they made the middle of the horseshoe Indiana shaped.

It isn't the state with the most iconic silhouette, but it doesn't have to be in this logo.
