I know. I have family in Louisiana and have spent time in the state and I know how messed up the state is and how the state is pretty much controlled by special interests.
A college education does not make anyone that can't make themselves but it gives them a hand up.
Not just with developing a QB but with people in general.

If you look at every great QB that has came out of Louisiana since the mid 90'a with Peyton you will see a trend of most going out of state

Maybe next time you wonder why you do not have a great QB at LSU you should be asking your state congressman why can't more of your tax dollars go to fund your university's academic and athletic programs

What an idiotic argument. Whether Louisiana puts enough emphasis or funds into public education is an entirely different matter and it has absolutely NOTHING to do with the failures of Les Miles to sign and develop a QB. DiNardo signed 2 Herb Tyler and Rohan Davey, 3 if you count Josh Booty. Saban signed Russell, Matt Flynn and Mauck. That's 6 good college QBs, 5 of which at least played in the NFL in 10 years prior to Miles. It's not like the state suddenly stopped funding education in 2005.

What you are doing here is confusing correlation with causation and being a smug jerk by trying to insult people all to defend and inexcusable failing in a coach because he's fromyour school.

Other than Eli what other QBs from La went out of state and has multiple pro starts? The only other 1can think of didn't leave the state because of academics. He desperately wanted to go to LSU but the great Michigan man didn't want him as a QB but as a TE.

And BTW the Manning didn't go out of state for academics, they were never going to LSU regardless and when they were coming out the football program at LSU was horrible.

I was speaking about out of high school into college.
John David Booty, Peyton and Eli and Major Applewhite.

So what do you expect from Canada.
Throwing 40 times a game and spreading the field or do you expect LSU to stay conservative and blame Canada for not changing their offense

The Mannings and Applewhite came out in the 90's when the football program at LSU was awful. however the Mannings weren't going to LSU regardless it's worth noting that Ole Miss and LSU are tied in the most recent US News rankings at 135. Tennessee is 103. Applewhite I don't think was recruited by LSU he was not a highly ranked player coming out that was developed in college. He also never did anything in the pros so you are moving the goalposts if you count him and ignore Tyler, Davey, Josh Booty, Muack, Russell and Flynn. JD Booty went to a private HS that had bad blood with LSU at the time, and not over academics. LSU had also just signed Russell and Flynn.

Are you seriously trying to blame academics for the offensive failing of Les Miles at LSU? If so you are biased homer. Whatever academic short comings LSU and Louisiana have it has nothing to do with the putrid offense Les Miles has been running. To think otherwise is patently false. LSU had good offense and good QB play many times INCLUDING THE FIRST 3 YEARS LES COACHED HERE: lol:
So I expect Canada to improve the offense into at least double digits and if he does not, then yes I will blame him and O because it will be their fault just like it was Miles and Cams fault.

To further destroy your ridiculous argument re academics as the reason Les Miles didn't develop a QB I offer 2 more points.

Outside of the Mannings, Louisiana has produced at least 4 other QBs to start at Super Bowl. 1) David Woolley went to LSU. The other 3 went to lesser colleges in the state. Now Doug Williams who went to Grambling was not going to allowed to play QB at LSU in the 70s because of race sadly. Terry Bradshaw La Tech was rumored to want to go to LSU but couldn't due to grades. Stan Humphries did actually sign with LSU but transferred out (reportedly over bad grades) to what is now UL Monroe.

The QB Miles wanted at TE and was NFL rookie of the year went to a school ranked 176, 30+ behind LSU.
