Since 1943, these are the college football teams with the fewest number of losing seasons. You can see there's a correlation between the number of seasons below .500 and blue blood status:

Oklahoma - 6 losing seasons
Ohio State - 6 losing seasons
Penn State - 6 losing seasons
Alabama - 10 losing seasons
USC - 10 losing seasons
Michigan - 11 losing seasons
Notre Dame - 11 losing seasons
Texas - 11 losing seasons

Georgia - 14 losing seasons
Florida State - 14 losing seasons
Florida - 15 losing seasons
Tennessee - 16 losing seasons

LSU - 19 losing seasons

Nebraska - 24 losing seasons
Texas A&M - 29 losing seasons

Are these official or unofficial?

Why since 1943?

The 90s were brutal for LSU.

Does winning anything of significance more than once in the past 30+ years factor into blue blood status? 6-6/7-5 for 80 years or a few national titles in the time that most living have been born? Which would you take? Blue blood is a term schools with flailing significance use to try and prop themselves up. Penn St, Michigan, ND and Texas all fall into this particular group. USC if not for the Carroll years would be also. They all celebrate decades of winning historically insignificant games over winning titles(in many cases not even contending for them). Not a club I want any parts of.

Because the tweet I stole this from didn't provide that information. I'd say I'd go back to Twitter and double check but Elon has throttled back everyone's usage of the platform.

We actually have fewer losing seasons than Bama since the SEC finally integrated in 1970.
And we should've pulled an A&M the past 2 seasons to keep from having a losing record.

Why are people pretending Notre Dame is a blue blood?

It’s not 1977 anymore. It’s over for them. They haven’t won anything in over 35 years.

Notre Dame has had multiple playoff and BCS title game appearances. They've been a top 5-8 program over the last decade. Couple that with their history....it's still a top program.

Since 2000. LSU has had one Losing season and 3 NC and 4 appearances. That’s better than every single program. We haven’t had a losing season until 2021.

This

Unless our grandparents are on here and were Notre Dame fans. They are the only
ones with an argument. Outside of that he’s right.

What part about ‘Winning’ do you not understand? Notre Dame has been blown out in every single BCS or Playoff game they have been in. Average score is something like 38-9

We have the numbers. Last natty was 35 years ago. They are a relic.

That continues to consistently finish within the Top 10-20 every single year.

Doesn’t a Blue Blood make. You have to actually WIN big games and Championships.
