That seems crazy to me considering how dominant they were for 40-50 years. I guess the bad bookends add up. But they are still blue blood all things considered.

What's crazy is that from 1962-2003, Nebraska never had a season below .500. Since 2004, however, they have finished below .500 nine times.

Since 2000. LSU has had one Losing season and 3 NC and 4 appearances. That’s better than every single program. We haven’t had a losing season until 2021.

That sounds great. What about the other 15 seasons since 2000 when LSU has had 3 losses (6 times) or 4-7 losses (9 seasons)?

This one is surprising, even with the awful conference.

They just had to vacate all wins from the 2012-2015 seasons too.

Including the 2019 season and only the 2019 season, LSU is the only undefeated team in college football (FBS).

I can’t expound because that’s all the tweet I stole it from contained and I’ve used up all my twitters for the day.

The 90s were brutal for LSU.

10 of LSU's 19 losing seasons occurred between 1981 & 1999 inclusive. 7 in the 90's plus 1 in 1989. 6 straight losing seasons from 1989-1995.

I'm sure a few were in the 90s when they stunk like Oklahoma.

90s opened the door for quite a few teams when these two bluebloods were down at the same time.

Sounds like us from 2005-2020. I can only hope that's behind us.

We had a similar dismal stretch from the mid 70s to the early 80s, although that one wasn't as severe.

Doesn’t a Blue Blood make. You have to actually WIN big games and Championships.

Notre Dame has 11 championships. They are very clearly a blueblood.

One more. I’ll take our consistent consistency as a top level program.

You can thank the lack of option style QBs for this. Plus nebraska always kept getting run blocking o linemen.
