Normally, CFB is my favorite to watch, but the first two rounds of the NCAA tourney are the best 4 days of sports in the year

I love watching the tourney but I agree. The quality of the play is horrible compared to what it used to be.

The quality of player isn't what it used to be. Better athletes, but worse basketball players.
I blame AAU, which is just loosely organized playground basketball. Every 6'8 and 6'9 guy thinks he's a 3 pt shooter and great ball handler.

How is that funny?

Cue the 10-year outdated perception that the NBA is "street ball" from someone who hasn't watched the NBA in 10 years.

Doug Gottleib is making the games unwatchable. Man is he a fricking terrible announcer.

The AAU circuits certainly haven't helped basketball player development.

Bo Ryan style shot clock burning offensive sets.

Zone defenses with hyper athletic players that can clog the lane. Zone used to be only utilized by undersized teams that can't match more athletic teams man-to-man.

The 35 second shot clock is far too long.

College basketball referees are atrocious, inconsistant and prohibit games from having any flow.

One-and-Done rule created a bunch of power conference teams without any continuity from year to year.

This. The freaking women's shot clock is only 30 seconds.

With no 10 second back court violation.

I know you are probably trolling, but a watered down product where defense is all but banned and the games are blatantly influenced by the referees just isn't very appealing.

CBB is MUCH better than the NBA because stars flopping/whining for fouls has ruined the game for me (a casual fan) at leat.

Meh, the shot clock could be shorter, but just because the game is a little slower paced doesn't mean its not entertaining

Is this like those threads people start on St. Patrick's day about how lame st. Patrick's day is?

Wow. I did not know that. Guess I need to brush up on the women's b-ball rules

I'm not in the unwatchable camp. I love college basketball. The shot clock is my main gripe. And that they won't let all 3 officials look at a replay at the same time

How am I trolling? The NBA is putting forth its best product in years. The talent pool is strong. The best teams also happen to be very good at defense. People who complain about rules that limit defense were complaining about the 70-68 Knicks-Heat games in the late '90s. Oh, and college games also happen to be blatantly influenced by referees -- see the Cal-UNLV game.
