Pretty obvious the SEC wasn’t as advertised this year and were propped up by inflated metrics due to 30 conference games.

No reason to be careful at all. You would rather not play the elite teams with more talent and a more substantive body of work

This is the same logic used to justify the entire SEC being in the tournament to begin with..
And as it appears, having a top-to-bottom roster of NIL/portal players doesn't always guarantee wins against smaller schools that get hot or play well together at tournament time

Nothing guarantees wins. Vandy was on a 9 game winning streak entering the regional with arguably the best pitching in the nation and hot bats.
This is why you play the games and don’t win on paper alone. Great tournament so far.
