If BK did not have JD 5 he would have lost at least 6 games last year.

They weren’t exactly dogshit with Applewhite or Simms. Dude also went 21-3 over a two year span at UNC with some dude named Chris Keldorf as starter.

Zac Taylor would’ve been fired 4 years ago if not for Burrow.

I think every coach who has ever won a national championship or a Super Bowl has done so with a competent QB under center. Teams that win championships typically don't make that many mistakes and if you have a QB who is mistake prone your chances of winning a championship drop precipitously.

What about his brother? Won at San Diego state, Stanford with and without Luck, San Fran with Smith and Kaep, and then Michigan who had no big name qb until McCarthy

won his first Super Bowl with Brady doing not much more than just managing a run first offense.
2001 New England was 22nd in the NFL is passing.
Even his next 2 titles they were 9th and 11th in passing.
Brady was good and very efficient, but wasn't "carrying" them at that time.
won 3 more after morphing Brady into a record setting GOAT.

Ole Riverboat Ron Rivera.
I never though the was a good coach but seemed to get all the credit when Cam was out there winning him games.
